What a Day.........
Today my DH sustained massive injury to his left middle finger.
Early this morning on the job site he cut his finger with the power saw and from what the exrays show..........very nasty.
He was admitted at our local hospital, but due to the nasty injury he got to see the inside of an Ambulance, thus a long slow drive to RPH. I drove behind and it seemed like the longest travel there in my life time......
Once they settled him in a ward about 3.30pm, remember since first admitted in AKMH at 8.00am, i slipped out about 4.00pm to go home and make sure my family was ok! So i raced back and was back to see my DH just after 6.00pm.
So 4 beds later and a whole day of fasting for surgery which was to be in the evening, he was told we will give you dinner. But Why!
Sorry Mr J surgery will be tomorrow. Can you imagine fasting all day, with constant pain relief and drips and fussing over him all day, to be told no surgery!
He took it with a pinch of salt and tried to enjoy a bit of dinner....but not much appetite. I had a yummy roast from the cafetaria though!
And do you know the whole day he is saying to me, thanks for being there, you poor thing its so boring for you. wasnt he sweet worrying about me, and not realising i was worrying about him, and still worrying......
As far as saving the finger, we pray whatever the outcome will be for his good. We are not sure at this stage, but we know they will do the best they can.
And inbetween nodding off all day, DH said, don't you worry bout me i will be back at work in a few days.......I dont think so i said....but we will see.....
Please keep him in your prayers. Luv Jen

Oh my gosh Jen. I've not visited anyone's blog in over a week and well, when you said your DH had had an accident thought I should make sure he is OK! Glad to hear that he is ok and here's hoping for a speedy recovery!
